In-Screed Floor Heating

In-Screed Kits are similar to Under-Tile Kits in that the cable is pre attached to a mat.

This unique product removes alot of the hassle during installlation as the heating cable is pre-spaced on the mat, providing an easy way of laying the cable in-screed. Heat your tiles quickly and efficiently – just what is required so your bathroom is warm when you get up in the morning. This product is also suitable to use under vinyl planks.

Each thermostat can cover up to 23sqm.

Bathroom Kits come in sizes upto 8sqm, select the kit size to cover your “free floor” area only, ie: Do not include area under sink, toilet, vanity, etc and 100mm away from walls.

The in-screed floor heating cables are approx. 6mm in diameter and carry 20 watts per linear metre. They are designed to be installed in a thin-screed of approx 10-30mm and are usually fixed down to the existing slab with a fine galvanized mesh or specialised fixing clips.

They act as a direct floor heating system & are ideal for new bathrooms & most bathroom renovations.

Advantages of In-Screed Floor Heating:

• Very low risk of damage by tiler
• Suitable for most floor coverings, but mostly tiles & stone
• Digital thermostat control
• Suitable for bathrooms & living areas.

NOTE: This product can be DIY installed but must be connected by a licensed electrical contractor and conntected to a Thermostat and RCD to comply with current AS/NZS 3000 wiring regulations.

If you have a wooden sub-floor you will need to lay tile backer board prior to installation of the cable mats.
